Cardinal Hayes Development Office was started in 1989 when a Direct Mail Program was begun in an effort to close the gap between revenue from government funding and expenditures involved in caring for individuals who are disabled. This program opened a new door of opportunity for Cardinal Hayes Home. Within a relatively short time, we came to realize that many folks shared our compassion and concern for individuals who are disabled. People from across the U.S., and even a few beyond our borders, supported our efforts, financially and through their prayers. Many blessings have come to us through old and new friends, and we have welcomed the opportunity to pray for the intentions of all who request our prayers.
We always appreciate new friends who want to join us in our mission. Our Development Office is small but efficient, and your gift will be promptly acknowledged.
Our Agency respects and honors all requests from our donors not to share their names with other organizations. We also purge names from our in-house donor list if someone no longer wishes to receive communications from our organization. We never rent our mail list, however list exchange remains the most cost effective way to gain new donors.

Memorial Donations are a great comfort to families who have lost a loved one. Donations can also be given to honor someone, or for a special occasion. A lovely acknowledgement card is sent to the person being honored — or to the family when a gift is “in memory” of someone. We also send a thank you card to the person making the donation.
Bequests to Cardinal Hayes Home are a wonderful way to carry your compassion and generosity into future years. Unless otherwise directed, bequests are placed in Cardinal Hayes Home Endowment Fund where they will benefit disabled individuals in the years to come as well as those now in care.
Please consider naming Cardinal Hayes Home for Children at Millbrook New York, in your will.
